Sharon

So she left me
early Monday morning-
30 minutes into the new day.
She left me,
relaxed from the hottub
and spinning from the beer
(I don't even remember how
many we had drank that night)
I remember her body though,
soft and firm
long, flexible legs pinning me to the couch
We managed to lose two hours
in a blackened haze
Two hours never to be recalled,
never to be remembered
Two hours of life, gone
Two hours of her, sacraficed
to who knows what
because of who knows what
But I do remember her
her smile when she whispered
"tomorrow"
her sterness
her need when she said
"discretely"
So she elft me to face my world
She left me with a kiss
and one hell of a hangover
