Lost, wandering aimlessly

Lost, wandering aimlessly
in the labyrinth
stumbling, fumbling
tumbling over my own untied shoes
moping, groping
hoping I'll find my love
Blindly I bumble along, chasing the star
it seems so far
The light of my love, glowing bright though my scars

Lost, wandering aimlessly
looking for a reason to rage
against the injustice, unfairness
the coldness, boldness
the aloneness inherent to reality
And I sit, thinking, upon the stones
chilled to the bone and always alone

Lost, I wander aimlessly
trying to find the light, my will to fight
soaring to new heights

Where is my light?
Will I ever find her?
The vision from my dreams as fleeting
as my ability to remember her
her face,
her features,
her love
Sigh
