    Yup- after being in a number of short term relationships right after a almost three year relationship I'm single yet again! I do have a daughter (a positively wonderful little girl!). She is with me every other week for a full week, so we'll have time to spend with each other without her until you feel comfortable enough to meet her! Don't miss understand me, I'm NOT looking for another Mother for my daughter- she already has one! I'm looking for somebody for me. With that said, I will go head and try to list all the relevant "Dating Statistics" as orderly as possible!

Physical Stats
Height: 6'3" Weight: My DL says its 210, but I was only guessing. I don't think I've put on weight since then.       Body Type: Slender to Average   Sex: Male (of course!)    Hair: I used to keep it real short because of my daughter's need to grab the handles on my head- my ears, nose, and lips are bad enough!- but I'm letting it grow out now. It's at an awkward stage right now.... It's usually blondish brown      Eyes: Greenish blue, depending on what I'm wearing

Interests
This part is going to be more detailed than the main page since not everyone NEEDS to know all this. So here goes (hold on tight!):
    As I have mentioned on the main page I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). It's a world wide Medieval re-creation society dedicated to education through "living" the past. It can take up a good chunk of my time sometimes, if I let it and now that I don't have a love interest (or even a weekend fling) to look forward too, it has consumed much of my free time.
    Armouring isn't my only hobby with in the SCA. I also sew and fight two of three of the SCA weapon styles (currently, I haven't  been doing any fighting as my armour is in a "transition" stage).
    Outside of the SCA I enjoy writing poetry, hiking (when I can), camping (usually done in the living room, since I have no equipment at the moment), and most things outdoorsy.
    I also study Koga Ryu style of Taijutsu. I've been studying it for almost a year now. I've also studied Tae Kwon Do, Kempo, Goju Ryu, Kung Foo San Soo, Bujinkan Togakre Ryu Taijutsu, and some weird home made art in San Antonio, Texas (that didn't last too long!).
    There are a number of things which I'm interested in which I 'm going to learn- once I have the time. I would love to learn how to Swing Dance (most forms of dancing interest me), I'd also love to learn how to play the Saxophone or Piano or even the Harmonica. I'd love to be able to sing. And I would love to pick up where I left off in College. Yup- I'm going to do this all in my spare time........... Maybe, someday, I'll actually have spare time.......:-)

What I want in a Woman
    I'm looking for a woman who can keep up with me. I don't want someone with excessive amounts of emotional baggage. I want someone who's independent, self confidant with a clear idea of where she's going in life. I don't want to have to support anybody again!
    I really need a woman with an opinion. I tend to be a bit stubborn too, so finding a woman who has a stubborn streak which equals mine is tantamount :-)
    Physically, I'm not very discriminating. I don't care about race, or your hair/eye color. Being that I am a few inches over six foot I would like to find someone who is around my height- give or take six inches... My main thing is a woman in good health. Not anorexic, not grotesquely over weight (clarification: I don't care if you have some meat on you, but if a muumuu is your idea of fashion, or you were a dress because you can't fit into jeans, I am not the man for you. Sorry:-(  ), but somewhere in between. Also, I'd like to find someone between 20 and 35 years old.
    Mentally, I want someone with a broad sense of humor and fairly intelligent. If your open to new ideas and new experiences, I want you! There are very few things I won't do, and I'm always interested in exploring new things and ideas!
    I don't care if you make more money than I do, smarter than I am, have a better car or job than I do. I just don't care. Those things don't matter to me. As long as I'm not always footing the bill, I don't care.
    I do care if you smoke or use drugs. I don't use or smoke and anyone I'm involved with won't either.

Philosophies and other Random Thoughts
    I don't believe in "One Night Stands". They're impersonal and generally lack what makes fantasy fun. There's no romance, no tenderness, nothing. It's nothing more than just a physical release, and there are safer ways to get that release. Nope- that's not my idea of fun.
    I am looking for a long term relationship. I crave a companion- someone who I can count on to be there for a long time. Which is why I don't mind taking it slowly, dating for a while, getting to know each other before making a serious, long term commitment. My last couple of love relationships were started in bed and I REALLY don't want a repeat performance of those.
    Although I don't mind dating someone with children, I have no want to become anybody else's Father. My little one is a handful enough for me!
    I am a firm believer in safe sex. If you have problems using any sort of contraceptives, then I am not the man for you. I am disease free and plan to stay that way!
    In any relationship, respect and communication is a must! I believe that any relationship needs to be a 50-50 deal or it's not worth it. I really want to have an equal partnership with someone. It's the only way I'm going to find happiness.
